Toronto International Film Festival 2016
Elizabeth is honored to have six films that she worked on premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival this September. The first is the much-anticipated film Into the Inferno by Oscar winner Werner Herzogand. A documentary about Toronto Raptor’s General Manager Masai Ujiri’s charity which shares the same name as the film Giants of Africa. Toronto filmmaker, Jamie Kastner, who Elizabeth has worked on previous films with, will be premiering his latest film A Skyjacker’s Tale. Another fillmmaker that Elizabeth has worked with, Nick de Pencier will be showing his latest film Black Code. Alanis Obomsawin’s from the NFB will be premiering her documentary We Can't Make the Same Mistake Twice about the history of the residential school system. Amanda Knox, a Danish-US coproduction produced by Mette Heide will have its North American premiere at TIFF.
